03 / DELIVERY & ASSEMBLY

What does “easy installation” actually include?

The unit arrives, but the base, unloading crew or service connections are not ready.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Agree a responsibility list covering freight, unloading, foundations, room assembly and commissioning.

Practical planning suggestions informed by the references below. Confirm requirements for the selected model and project location.

01

Ask for the actual assembly information

Eco Structures says installation time varies with model, crew, site and weather. Treat any advertised day count as model-specific. Request an assembly sequence, required tools, crew skills and packing list for the room you are considering.

02

Walk the delivery route

Measure the narrowest access point, turning space and unloading area. Send photographs and constraints to the freight provider. Confirm who supplies unloading equipment and dry storage; Clear Sky’s FAQ illustrates that delivery need not include offloading.

03

Separate arrival from opening day

Create milestones for site preparation, delivery, assembly, service connections and room handover. Assign each milestone to a named party. Add a check for damage, missing parts and the escalation contact before the installation crew leaves.

Sources & context

Manufacturer references illustrate questions to resolve; they are not performance or service claims for FIELDLODGE products. Regional approval examples do not determine requirements elsewhere.
