07 / MODEL SELECTION

Safari tent, hard-wall lodge or modular cabin: which fits?

Products look attractive, but their site requirements and operating experience are difficult to compare.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Use the same guest brief and site constraints to compare the actual models, rather than choosing by exterior alone.

Practical planning suggestions informed by the references below. Confirm requirements for the selected model and project location.

01

Canvas lodge questions

Explore the canvas atmosphere and outdoor living arrangement. Request fabric care, replacement-panel information, weather documentation and privacy options. Check the occupied room experience through a model visit or a pilot where possible.

02

Hybrid and cabin questions

For a hard-wall lodge, clarify the roof-to-wall and floor connections. For an enclosed modular cabin, ask for transport dimensions, unloading needs, insulation data and service-access details. Rigid walls do not by themselves establish comfort performance.

03

Compare the trade-offs consistently

Score each proposed model on delivery access, total opening scope, assembly, guest comfort, maintenance and local review requirements. Eco Structures distinguishes permanent and non-permanent products within its own tent range; removability is therefore something to verify for the particular system, not assume from its name.
